Waxed Canvas Care

Waxed canvas is a beautifully textured material. It's durable, and water resistant. The lived-in, worn look comes from coating the canvas in wax; either bees wax, paraffin or a combination of the two. When new, it can feel stiff, however; with use it will soften and become more distressed looking. If you think it looks too worn or distressed looking, simply warm it with a hair dryer. This will soften the wax and diminish the look of the wrinkles.

Clean with a stiff brush, do not use soap.
