Skill Level

Interested in participating in one of my workshops?  Not sure what skill level you are or which workshop is best for you?  Below you will find numbered levels to be used as a guide when deciding.  If you have any questions as to which level you are just let me know HERE.  All of my workshops require you to bring a sewing machine in good working order.  General knowledge of your machine such as threading machine, winding bobbins, changing out needles and changing out feet is necessary.

Level

  1. I have general knowledge of my machine but I have not made anything just yet or its been many years since I have sewn anything.
  2. I have general knowledge and am comfortable using my machine. I have made several projects. I am familiar with what a seam allowance is and can locate the marks on machine correctly.
  3. In addition to skill listed in level 2 I have also followed a basic pattern, cut out fabric, and am familiar with what interface is.
  4. I have made projects, followed patterns and feel pretty confident in my sewing but have not sewn a zipper or could use more practice doing so.
  5.  I have sewn patterns and even altered patterns to fit my needs, have sewn zippers or maybe even made a bag, a zippered pouch or garments but think a sewing workshop is a fun way to spend the day.
